】 Food and Beverage Entrepreneurship in the UK🍽Hong Kong Business Hub 香港商匯 has held a series of business webinars and networking events over the past months. We learnt that many Hongkongers are interested in developing a food and beverage business yet encountering different challenges like getting the right licenses, renting a shop, sourcing, and attracting local customers.
Hence, we partner with a local food and beverage organisation, The FoodWorksSW, to launch this tailor-maded "Food and Beverage Entrepreneurship in the UK” course. We also invite several Hongkonger food business owners to share their experiences in the UK.
The course will cover the followings in 12 lessons:
Various food business models (Food business from home, dark kitchen and takeaway or delivery, franchising and taking over an existing business) Regulations: registration, licensing, food safety and hygiene, taxation, employment Trends and opportunities of the UK food industry Market research and business plan Products and menus design Branding, marketing, and adaptation to the local market Sourcing for ingredients, equipment and packaging materials Food production and safetyCourse date : 29 November 2022 to 22 February 2023
