36th Memorial Vigil for Tiananmen in EDI

1989年6月是 #天安門民主運動 遭到血腥鎮壓的日子。儘管自2020年起香港維多利亞公園的六四燭光追悼集會因政治打壓被迫取消，但世界各地對六四的悼念從未停止。我們將於2025年6月4日（星期三）18:00–19:00在 #愛丁堡 鬧市中央舉行悼念集會，憑弔民主運動上的遇難者。

延續哀悼，亦是每一位重視人權價值的人知紀念活動。

4th June 1989 marks the brutal crackdown on the pro-democracy movement at Tiananmen Square. 36 years later, Hongkongers have not forgotten the sacrifices of that day. Although candlelight vigils for June 4th at Hong Kong’s Victoria Park have been banned under political repression since 2020, people around the world continue to remember June 4th. We will hold a candlelight vigil in East Princes Street Gardens (near the Scott Monument) in Edinburgh on Tuesday, 4 June 2025 from 6:00–7:00 PM to honor those who lost their lives on June 4th. This vigil is organized by and for Hongkongers, so that we overseas can continue to mourn. Let us gather together in this solemn moment to raise our voices for justice.
